                  • How can I be saved?

                  What do you mean Saved?

This is simple.  When Jesus Christ came to this Earth, He came with one mission.  To give His life in exchange for ours.  Because Adam sinned in the beginning, he subjected the world to sin.  Because God is just, he required a punishment for that sin.  In order to satisfy God's law, Jesus Christ gave Himself up to die on the cross, and then after three days He rose again.  Through His death and resurrection,
God has given us eternal life in His son.

"For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus Christ) the many will be made righteous."
                  Romans 5:19

This is our good news!  Jesus has given His life so that we can share in His righteousness.  So what have we been saved from?  We have been separated from God in our sin, because God can not be in the presence of sin.  Now through the blood of Christ we are saved from all sin.

"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins."
                  Romans 3:23-25

                  How can we ibe saved?

All we have to do to be saved is admit that we have fallen short of God's glory.  We have to be humble enough to know that we are not the person that we had hoped we would be.  We have to repent of our sins... This means to change our minds about who we want to be.   We have to stop doing the things that God calls sin, and we have to understand that we can not do that without God's help.  It all starts with one prayer, it doesn't have to be in a church, and it doesn't have to be with a minister.  It's between you and God.  There's a prayer just below to help you.

                  Heavenly Father,
Today I come to ask your forgiveness.  I am a sinner.  I confess Jesus Christ is Lord of my life, and I believe that You raised Him from the dead on the third day so that I can be saved.  Lord, I need your help, please send me Your Holy Spirit. To lead me and to guide me as I trust you to change my heart.
                  I love you, God.  Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, we would like to hear about it.  Please fill out the information below and we can keep you in prayer and hopefully have you join our family, if you're not part of a church family.  We believe that this Christian life is not meant to live alone.  We need each other to help us along the way. We're excited for you on your new journey!
